ABOUT US:

Shaken Not Stirred is a company founded in 2019 with the mission to empower future generations by developing and implementing innovative education projects. Our two flagship initiatives are 42 em Portugal and TUMO Portugal.

42 is one of the world’s leading coding schools, with over 52 campuses across 31 countries. It’s an inclusive school open to anyone, regardless of academic background or professional experience. The school employs a disruptive, peer-to-peer, project-based learning methodology with no classes, no teachers, and no schedules, boasting a 100% employability rate for its students. 42 Lisboa was launched in July 2020 by Shaken Not Stirred and has received almost 60,000 applications since then and +1000 students have passed by. A second 42 campus opened in Porto in July 2022 with +600 students started. In 2024, Shaken Not Stirred implemented at 42 Porto the SEA:ME Program - a 1-year Master's-level program in mobility software engineering, developed and owned by the Coding School 42 Wolfsburg in collaboration with industry leaders.

TUMO is a creative technologies center founded in Armenia, now present in over 10 countries. Aimed at young people aged 12 to 18, TUMO complements formal education by offering opportunities to develop skills in areas such as Music, Robotics, Animation, Game Development, Programming, Photography, Cinema, and Graphic Design. Each student follows a personalized learning path based on their progress and interests, guided by learning coaches and experts. The first TUMO center in Portugal opened in Coimbra in September 2023, and the second one in Lisboa in September 2024, each serving 1,500 students. With plans for 10 centers nationwide, discussions are underway for expansions to Porto/Matosinhos, Braga, Évora, and Portimão.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in helping Shaken Not Stirred understand and demonstrate the transformative impact of its educational programs. By providing insights into how our initiatives empower students, improve career readiness, and drive social impact, the Data Analyst will be instrumental in guiding program development, support decision making and communicate the impact of the projects to internal and external stakeholders.. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Data Management: Organize, and manage data from multiple sources, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and relevance, and to ensure the appropriate data collection mechanisms are being implemented by each team.
• Operational Performance Analysis & Insights: Track and analyze key operational KPIs, ,developing dashboards and reporting tools that offer ongoing visibility into the projects’ operational performance that support leadership in strategic planning and that communicate the impact of the projects to various stakeholders
• Strategic Analysis for Program Insights: Conduct analyses to identify opportunities for strategic realignment or to understand deviations from expected outcomes. Evaluate data to uncover patterns, such as demographic trends or correlations, that may influence program performance and inform adjustments to enhance impact.
• Growth & Funding Support: Partner with both Business Development and Finance teams to align data analysis with strategic goals, to help produce compelling data-backed presentations showcasing the value, sustainability, and long-term impact of the projects.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• “Data-for-good” mindset: A passion for social equity and a commitment to using data to drive meaningful educational outcomes.
• Educational Background: Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 1 to 2+ years of experience in data analysis
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis software (e.g MS Excel), tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to translate data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
• Responsible, autonomous, and reliable: Strong degree of accountability, with the ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver reliable results.
• Highly Collaborative & Empathetic: Demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork, valuing collective progress and actively engaging with teammates to achieve shared goals.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English;

NB: Shaken Not Stirred is also available to provide this Job Opportunity as a part-time job | Internship | project Thesis opportunity contract, instead of a 1 year - Agreement if the candidate is still finishing its Master's degree and has less experience than the recquired experience above mentioned.
